YEASTED BREADS

These breads have a shorter shelf life and should be consumed within a day or two from when  you buy them.  They begin with a pre-fermented mixture of flour, water and yeast.

 

Baguette – French bread that just has to be eaten right on the spot.  Tough job! 

Ciabatta – A flat shaped Italian bread that is light and airy.  This bread is great dipped in olive oil!

Country Bread – A yeasted bread that slices well for sandwiches and your morning toast.

Pane Siciliano - Swirl-shaped loaf, made with semolina flour sprinkled with sesame seeds.

SOURDOUGH BREADS

These breads are made with Sourdough starter. The flavor continues to develop for several days..

 

Whole Wheat Sourdough - Round loaf made with bread four, whole wheat & rye flours leavened with both bread flour and rye cultures.  Rich in flavors.

Plain – This is a plain sourdough that goes with just about any thing.

Sourdough with Rye – Plain sourdough with a touch of rye...great bread for sandwiches, a side bread and toast.

Cranberry – Organic cranberries, sweetened with maple syrup, this bread is delicious.  Makes great French toast.

Miche - Round loaf shaped in the European tradition of a 4lb boule, using high extraction organic flour.  In the days of community ovens, loaves this size were often baked and eaten until their next turn.  Flavor develops over time.  Available in 1/4 loaf size and full loaf upon request.

 

BREADS with TWO STARTERS (combination of sourdough & yeast)

Like the Sourdough breads listed above, these breads will last and freeze well, too.

 

Whole Wheat Honey– Just a hint of honey makes this bread extra good for toast with butter and honey.

Cinnamon Raisin – Just plain yummy filled with honey and lots of cinnamon and raisins.

Rosemary Olive Oil – Fresh rosemary is the key to the wonderful smell and taste of our rosemary bread, made with both sourdough culture and a little yeast.

Roasted Garlic – Fresh roasted garlic... great with your favorite Italian meal.

Natural Wholegrain - Take the basic four ingredients and add flax, sunflower and sesame seeds and rolled oats. Very nutty, moist and full of flavor.
